Dr. Stanicki is a trilingual physician and infectious disease researcher, licensed to practice medicine in Argentina and Brazil. She graduated from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine (UBA, 2017–2023) and completed her Master of Science in Tropical Diseases at São Paulo State University (UNESP, 2024–2025), where she developed research on HIV treatment optimization in real-world cohorts.
Currently, she is a PhD candidate in Tropical Diseases at UNESP, continuing her research line on therapeutic effectiveness and clinical outcomes in populations living with HIV, with special focus on older adults and simplified treatment regimens.
Her clinical experience includes an infectious disease observership at UCHealth (Aurora, Colorado, USA) and an international rotation at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu (Barcelona, Spain). In 2024, she founded CareThere, offering personalized medical care to patients from over 23 countries, bridging deep knowledge of South American healthcare systems with international medical standards.
Dr. Stanicki has multiple scientific publications in the Brazilian Journal of Infectious Diseases and has presented her research at major national conferences, including Infecto 2025 (Brazilian Society of Infectology), MEDTROP (Brazilian Society of Tropical Medicine), and the São Paulo Infectology Congress.
In 2025, she had two studies selected for oral presentation at Infecto 2025, among the top 48 studies from over 1,100 submissions. Her research on simplified dual therapy regimens for HIV and treatment effectiveness in special populations stood out for its scientific relevance.
Currently, in her doctoral studies in Tropical Diseases (UNESP), she is conducting multicenter Brazil–Argentina research on persistent low-level viremia in people living with HIV, analyzing virological effectiveness, genotyping, quality of life, and clinical outcomes in patients using simplified dolutegravir + lamivudine regimens.
